Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre has over 16 years of experience in developing and delivering creative dance activities for and within schools. Shared Education
DQDT has been involved in a number of shared education project supported by the International Fund for Ireland and The Atlantic Philanthropies through Fermanagh Trust. One such project involved staging Stravinisky’s The Rite of Spring with 140 young people.
Castlederg Cluster Dance programme
DQDT worked with 9 schools across the Castlederg area to deliver creative dance classes for young people who have very limited opportunities to engage in creative dance activities. A number of the schools involved were isolated and had restricted access to external professional due to their rural location and size.
St Patricks Derrygonnelly
DQDT after schools dance group. This pretty much does what it says on the tin. It is an afterschool dance group for years 5 & 6. These classes are general creative dance classes with a street dance element, they are designed to support participants creative development as well as their general fitness, health and well being.
