Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre specialises in creative dance projects and delivers a broad range for various community organisations. We have provided a few examples of the sort of projects we have offered and continue to offer. If you are interested in us delivering a project for your community groups please give us a call.
Investing in Our Future
DQDT has been working with Class Act Drama to deliver a large scale multi disciplinary arts project across the Southern Cluster area of Banbridge, Craigavon, Armagh and Newry and Mourne. The project provided opportunities for young people to participate in dance drama, visual arts and film making workshops and result in 4 live outdoor performances in March of 2011.
Faith and Light
DQDT was delighted to be involved in helping the members of Faith and Light celebrate their 25th year anniversary by creating a dance for them to perform at their celebration. Over only 4 sessions we worked with members of the Fermanagh Faith and Light group to create a performance to the wonderful music of Andrea Bocelli.
Start Up
Start Up was an Eglinton Community Centre project. DQDT worked with Sole Purpose Productions and In Your Space to deliver dance, drama and circus workshops for young people living in Eglinton. The project which was supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and resulted in a performance at the Eglinton Community Hall.
