Adult Classes

We have listed the various classes we currently offer below however we are always looking at extending our programme so if you have a dance style you are interested in or indeed have experience in please get in touch. Please note: If you have any health concerns  we advise that you consultant your doctor before undertaking any of our classes however in particular our Zumba class, it is is great fun and a great work out!

Rock N Roll Jive

Have you ever been to a wedding and watched with envy while others get up and strut their stuff but you just haven’t had the confidence to join them? Well come along to out Rock N Roll Jive classes to learn the moves to get you moving. We will teach enough steps for you be confident and cool on the dance floor.

Salsa

Learn the latin the moves with a partner so that you look hot on the dance floor. We have been teaching Salsa for over 8 year an currently deliver beginners and intermediate classes in Enniskillen and Omagh. Salsa is a great way to improve your dance skills, your fitness and as a couple it is a fantastic opportunity to rekindle the spark of youth.

Lindy Hop

The original dance hall jive. The Lindy Hop is one of the styles the G.I.s brought with them during World War 2 and we developed it into what we now know as the Jive. It is a fun energetic dance with turns, spins and lifts (for those who want to lift!). This is dance that is perfect for weddings and just bopping around at home.

Contemporary

Contemporary is a style that has developed over many years and is the bed rock of the work of Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre. It was originally a reaction against the restrictive styles in Classical Ballet however has developed in many different ways and with many different techniques. The type of movement we explore in our contemporary classes has been described as “gentle movement  to music”. It is designed to offer new and interesting forms of movement, to challenge your preconceptions of what you can achieve, to push your movement boundaries and help you develop your co-ordination, balance and core strength. This class is danced in bare feet and has elements of yoga and palates in it, everyone follows the class teacher and it does not require a partner.

Zumba

Well what can we say about Zumba! It is the Latin dance fitness craze that is taking the world by storm. “Ditch the workout and join the party”. rumba doesn’t require a partner or experience and you can come along to any of the classes you don’t have to pay for a full programme. A special deal we are offering is attend 5 classes and get the 6th for free!!!
